MISS GINA’S PRESCHOOL AND PARENT INVOLVEMENT SCHOOL CALENDAR 2011-2012

This school calendar is based on the average of the 9 months of preschool/Pre-k classes. Some months you may have extra days of preschool and some months your days of school may be small.  That is why we average all of our days.   Kindergarten runs on 10 months and 176 days.  This calendar will also demonstrate how many days you have received for your 9 month commitment in tuition for your childs early childhood education. 

WE will be open for childcare days, however, any child attending on those days will be charged for that day. It is not used as a makeup day.  The cost is $25.00 per day and there are half day costs as well. ($childcare)

FAMILIES ARE ASKED TO CHOOSE ONE SPRING BREAK TO ATTEND:  PUBLIC SCHOOL IS FIRST ONE AND THE SECOND ONE IS PRIVATE SCHOOL.  It is factored in.  If your child attends both spring breaks they will be charged the daily or weekly rate.  Thank you.

KEY FOR COST AND AVERAGE OF DAYS PER PROGRAM:  (NOT KINDERGARTEN)

*Mwf program (3 day program is 88 days of preschool)= you will receive 91 *3 free days

*T th f program (3 day program is 88 day of preschool)=you will receive 92 *4 free days

*Mtw program (3 day program is 88 days of preschool)=you will receive 92 *3 free days

*T th (2 day program is 61 days of preschool)=63 * 2 free days

*M-F (5 day program is 149 days of preschool)=you will receive 153 *4 free days

*KINDERGARTEN=180 days =you receive* 4 free days

YOUR FREE DAYS ARE TO BE USED AS SNOW DAYS AND SICK DAYS.  THERE WILL BE NO MAKE-UP DAYS AT ALL THIS YEAR UNLESS THERE IS A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.  AFTER 5 SNOW DAYS, THE SCHOOL WILL THEN OPEN UP ANY CLOSED DAYS FOR MAKE UP and allow make-up days.

 KEY:  $CHILDCARE (MEANS THAT YOUR CHILD IS NOT REGISTERED FOR THIS DAY AND IF THEY ATTEND YOU WILL BE CHARGED IN ADDITION TO YOUR MONTHLY AMOUNT.)

FOLDER AND CHILD INFO PACKET TO PICK UP AT PRESCHOOL.  ALL FAMILIES WILL BE REPSONSIBLE IN RETURNING ALL THE FOLDERS AND INFO NEEDED BY OPEN HOUSE ON

 OPEN HOUSE:

AUGUST 31 or September 1

(wed or thursday only)

4-7:00 PM.  CHILDREN CAN COME TO VISIT THEIR CLASSROOMS, MEET THEIR TEACHERS, TURN IN THEIR SUPPLIES, AND FOLDERS.
